PositionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Assembly to join our West Hartford, CT team.
Supervise 20-30 employees in the Hydromechanical and Thermal Assembly & Test Value Stream. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
The candidate should be a team player with experience in some of the following areas: aerospace assembly and test practices, low volume mixed mode production, contract bargaining agreement personnel management, lean manufacturing, and process flow optimization. Other responsibilities will often be assigned. The candidate needs strong communication skills. Responsibilities•Schedule shift production work and hold staff accountable for meeting production expectations. Qualifications•Minimum of 5 years production management experience.
