Overview

Under direct supervision, primarily performs basic research or lab activities similar to a Research Assistant 1 or Lab Aide*.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Perform bench top cell biology (Cell culture, Protein Expression, Gel Running)
• General lab maintenance, cleaning and organization of materials.
• Attendance and presentation at lab meetings, contributions to publications as requested (writing, figures, data), contributions to applications for funding as requested (writing, figures, data)

Responsibilities

Enrolled in or on vacation from or is otherwise registered High School, OR

Qualifications

• Experience in researches , such as cell culture, tissue handling, and tissue immunofluorescence
• Willingness to learn protein biochemistry and bioconjugation
• Equivalent combination of training and experience
