Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Packer to join our team at our manufacturing facility Wheeling, IL. Starting pay is $14.90 per hour!

Your Role:

As a Packer you will be responsible for packing finished product into shipping cartons, bulk packs, or other containers according to information on Log or from supervisor/lead. You will have the opportunity to:

• Pack products on running machines and place product into each case.
• Lift and pack stacks of product.
• Select appropriate amount of product either by measuring; hand counting, or counting done by a stacker system.
• Assemble cartons by folding and closing with hand taper or tape machine.
• Combination packaging of product to include regular packing with the addition of a pre counted bag of plastic domes or foil laminated boards to be placed in box before adding aluminum pans.
• Monitor materials and product for defects.
• Comply with all Plant rules, safety rules, GMP and PPE guidelines and Department work instructions.
• Perform housekeeping duties.

We need you to have:

• High School diploma or equivalent or currently employed by Pactiv
