Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Financial Controls and Compliance to join our team at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Director of Financial Controls and Compliance, you will have overall responsibility for the adequacy of the Company's control environment including leading activities to ensure the framework is designed appropriately and is operating effectively and any gaps are remediated timely.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Understand and oversee the proper documentation of all key business processes impacting financial reporting and the related risks and controls
• Develop and maintain COSO Framework Structure, including annual documentation refresh and design evaluation
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with field operations to ensure consistency of controls and best practices for accounting operations
• Manage preparation of documents to meet standards and comply with laws, regulations, and company policies

This role will interact heavily with all levels of the organization, including Sr. Management, Operations and Internal Audit. In addition, this role will act as a key liaison between the Company and its external auditors.

We need you to have:

• B.S. degree in Accounting
• 10 years of experience with at least 5 years with a Big 4 public accounting firm
• Experience in operational internal audit, internal controls assessment, SOX 404 evaluation and testing
• Experience in a manufacturing environment in a large, multi-national corporation
• Experienced management accountant with the ability to develop, implement and enforce standard management accounting principles

Icing on the cake:

• Previous experience in a publicly traded organization
