Right of Way - Real Estate Representative
Up to $70,929 annually
The real estate representative position requires conducting direct purchase activities in rural and urban areas throughout District Three. These right of way activities should be completed in a timely manner that conform to the Federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 and its amendments; Minnesota State statutes; and policies and procedures set forth by the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The right of way activities includes both partial and total acquisitions associated with a variety of property classifications, including commercial, residential (single & multi-family), agricultural & industrial real estate. The Real Estate Representative will also assist the Principal Engineer in associated tasks including but not limited to consultant management and property management.

Two (2) years of professional real estate experience that includes processing field titles, direct purchases, and relocations. This experience must also include:
•Knowledge of the State and Federal laws and regulatory regulations and polices affecting real estate, land acquisition and disposition.
•Ability to investigate property ownership and title through courthouse records, locate and interpret property sales, review and interpret financial statements, cash flows, interest rates, depreciation, and severance damages.
•Must possess a valid driver's license.
•Notary Public, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
