We are looking to add a motivated individual to our manufacturing sales team.


PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Perform as the primary quality contact who drives excellence across all functions as well as, measures and reports on key operating metrics for the local management team, to ensure Anderson & Dahlen Inc. consistently meets our customer specifications and quality expectations.


. Requirements:

AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Act as primary Quality Contact for the Waconia facility

• Represent Quality at Engineering Project Status and other meetings

• Maintain quality performance data for shop floor and senior management

• Perform dimensional, receiving, in process and final inspections as required

• Assist in the development of control/ inspection plans to ensure product compliance

• Support Lean/continuous improvement principals and initiatives

• Work with manufacturing to design fixtures and processes that reduce defects

• Work with Purchasing Dept to manage supplier performance

• Analyze non-conformance data to drive root cause and corrective action

• Facilitate the corrective action process


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of certificates and experience

• Ability to lead and facilitate improvement teams in problem solving

• Experience in inspection methods, to include set-ups, blueprint reading and GD&T

• A good understanding of machining, welding and metal fabrication

• Excellent organizational skills

• Very strong interpersonal and customer service skills

• Experience with Lean Mfg and DMAIC problem solving skills

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret specifications, prints, and technical documents

• Lift/Carry-

- 0-20 lbs.- frequently

- 21-50 lbs.- occasional

• Bend, twist, and kneeling occasionally
