Lab Research (60%)
Execute complex multi-step novel and standard experiments using a strong foundation of theoretical based knowledge
Follow up investigation and analysis (20%)
Execute additional multi-step experiments when further investigation is warranted
Data Analysis and Reporting (15%)
- Analyze complex data sets and research findings
- Periodically conduct literature reviews
- Assist in the preparation of summaries, technical reports, and research proposals
-Present data/reports at lab meetings to lab team
Other Duties as Assigned (5%)
***All required qualifications must be documented on application materials***
- BA/BS plus at least two years of experience or a combination of education and experience to equal six years
- Previous research laboratory experience conducting complex multi-step experiments
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills, particularly with large and complex data sets
- Demonstrated experience using data analysis tools
- Experience must include two years of demonstrated experience in biomedical research
