NJR is seeking an Intern – Asset Operations and Management to assist the CEV Asset Management team by performing research and analysis relating to asset performance and operations.

What you will do:
Bring your enthusiasm and drive and you’ll learn from some of the top talent in the energy industry. You’ll have hands-on experience with your team and the support of our human resources team through this 10-week program. Growing both professionally and personally throughout the program could lead to future post-grad opportunities.
• Collaborate with a variety of internal teams, including Asset Management, Engineering, Project Management and Business Development, to support operational performance and other initiatives
• Assist operations team in identifying issues with site performance and problem solving to develop corrective action plans
• Analyze energy market pricing and asset performance data to make recommendations for optimization of assets.
• Assist with maintenance inspections of commercial solar facilities, schedule repairs and maintenance activities
• Support review and analysis of service contracts to ensure that CEV is maximizing value from service providers
• Use MS Office tools to communicate results and insights in charts, graphs and presentations

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related qualitative discipline (Engineering, Statistical Analysis, Computer Science, Business or Finance preferred); candidates should be entering their junior or senior year
• Strong interest in the renewable and clean energy sector
• Strong computer skills, strong ability to use Excel
• Available to work full time (40 hours per week) during defined intern program dates (June-August)
• Ability to work hybrid/onsite in the corporate office in Wall, NJ
• Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
