Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Operation of CNC vertical machining centers
  • MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, using
  • Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
  • Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
  • Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
  • Observe all company quality and safety procedures
  • Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
  • Participates in Lean manufacturing events


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree in a relevant field or (3+) years of experience preferred
  • Must have 3 years of experience operating CNC vertical machining centers
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information
  • Great communication skills
  • Must have Aerospace experience
  • 5axis set-up experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Haas and or Mori DMG Machines.
  • Experience working with various materials, such as aluminum, plastic, and steel
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Experience with manual inspection using gauges and instruments in support of CMM inspection by the Quality Department
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail is a must
  • Must be able stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible schedule, availability to cover 2nd shift if needed.
