About the Role:
CrowdStrike is seeking a License Management Consultant to join our License Management Services ( LMS ) team. LMS is responsible for customer compliance with CrowdStrike’s licensing agreements and tasked with protecting our intellectual property by identifying and recovering bookings from our non-compliant customers and partners. This role will be actively involved in proactive customer audits, reconciling entitlements against deployment and relentlessly pursuing expired and expiring subscription renewals.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead all activities associated with end user software license compliance audits

  • Perform extensive data telemetry and related licensing analysis as part of audit execution

  • Interact with cross functional internal teams and manage multiple audits simultaneously

  • Assist with facilitation and use of CrowdStrike internal technology-based tools and/or methodologies to review, design and/or implement compliance services and related program offerings

  • Collaborate with sales in the pursuit of license compliance initiatives

  • Act as a liaison between end users and Sales to resolve and prevent future compliance issues

  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance program policies to support internal growth

  • Document and distribute best practices for subscription management and subscription optimization


  • What You'll Need:
  • At least 5+ years prior experience in a customer contact role and/or in audit/software license compliance review role with a strong background in auditing techniques

  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills including the ability to translate technical information to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences

  • Proven relationship building experience and instilling trust with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make prudent business decisions

  • Working knowledge of relational databases to facilitate data analysis

  • Self-driven, highly motivated and independent in completing assigned tasks

  • Ability to prioritize in a pressured environment to consistently deliver desired outcome

  • Experience in creating and analyzing customer telemetry reports

  • Excellent commercial skills, including managing programs and projects

  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

  • Complete understanding of the software subscription business model and ability to describe in convincing fashion the value generated for customers

  • Handling the pressure of Sales cycles
