Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Technician to join our team. The QA Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and a passion for delivering exceptional products. Must follow Altor Solutions' standards for Safety, Housekeeping, Quality and Production in an efficient and safe manner.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field

- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and document non-conformances

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications


Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products

- Perform tests and measurements to ensure compliance with specifications and standards

- Document and report any non-conformances and work with the production team to resolve issues

- Maintain accurate records of all quality inspections and testing results

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards


Physical Demands

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers; talk and hear. Frequently required to reach, bend, squat, stretch, and twist. Regularly required to lift and/or carry up to 15 pounds and up to 40 pounds with help. Regularly required to stand and walk during the entire shift. Must be able to work efficiently and repetitively with hands and have physical strength, stamina, and coordination to perform duties.


Work Environment

The work environment is typical of most manufacturing environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually high with ear protection required. Will work in a dusty and sometimes wet environment as well as cold/hot/humid areas based on the seasons.
