ABOUT THE ROLE OUP is a mission led organization delivering excellence in education around the globe through publishing. We aim to support a variety of ways for institutions, including libraries, to provide access to OUP content to make it accessible globally. The Marketing Assistant, Americas Library Marketing is an entry level role that will work with a collaborative team to promote our journals and online products to libraries through various multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. The role will also assist to create digital and print collateral for the over 20 library conferences in the Americas which OUP participates in each year and help with new product launches to support the Americas Institutional Sales team. Every day is different in this role, with a broad range of tasks to do each day. This role is perfect for someone collaborative, adaptable, able to thrive in a fast paced environment, interested in publishing and libraries, and someone who enjoys succinctly sharing information and finding creative ways to do so. This role is hybrid out of our Cary, NC office. Expected travel is one conference a year to start, with the potential for more conference travel as the role or business needs evolve. Key Responsibilities include: • Understand the library marketing strategy and wider divisional marketing strategic context, and how the regional marketing strategy aligns with this • Work closely with the Americas library marketing team and Americas library sales team in order to understand sales priorities, major campaigns, offers & initiatives • Assist and support with the development of annual and quarterly Americas library marketing campaigns aligned with sales campaigns & priorities to grow revenue and retain existing business in the Americas. • Support and assist successful regional campaign implementation including:
• When needed and when capacity allows (in agreement with your manager), assist other team members with product marketing or library marketing activity
