Azzur Lab is looking for a Microbiologist I, who will perform laboratory testing and interacts with clients to interpret their results. Microbiologists are responsible for ensuring that established methods and protocols complete laboratory testing.

Job Description:

As a Microbiologist I, you will be at the forefront of laboratory testing and client interactions, ensuring that our laboratory operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining quality and safety while upholding industry standards.

?? General Responsibilities

?? Performing Tests:

Interact with clients to provide technical guidance on testing methods and result interpretations.

Set up and analyze tests with precision, following protocols.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of quality systems.

Perform laboratory testing in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025.

Assist in training and developing personnel, creating training materials as required.

Review and maintain records to ensure compliance with laboratory specifications.

Conduct on-site testing, required calculations, and notify clients of exceeded levels.

Assist in investigations related to observations, deviations, and equipment failures.

Design and conduct internal laboratory studies, subject to final quality approval.

?? Planning of Tests:

Collaborate in scheduling and conducting laboratory tests.

Assist in scheduling and conducting laboratory cleaning.

Contribute to scheduling qualifications, validations, and calibrations.

?? Reporting Opinions and Interpretations:

Possess in-depth knowledge of the technology used for materials tested.

Analyze and review Microbial and Environmental Monitoring data.

Understand deviations and communicate effectively with clients regarding test results, trend analysis, and concerns.

?? Knowledge Of:

Universal Blood and Body Fluid Precautions; standard laboratory equipment, methods, and protocols; infectious agents and diseases; metric system weights and measures; and filing and recordkeeping systems.

?? Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in the life sciences (BSc or BA).

2-3 years of microbiology experience.

Preferred Experience:
-----USP <71> Testing USP <60>,<61>,<62> testing; USP <1231> testing; Sterile Gowning
