Threat Tec is seeking qualified candidates to join our Battlewatch Support Team in support of the Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH), Directorate of Operations Program Support (DOPS). The Battlewatch Support Team Members play a critical role in providing 24/7, 365 days per year support as the Command's central notification and data-source center for both crisis and significant non-routine events.

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuous support as part of a 24/7, 365 days per year team, serving as the Command's central notification and data-source center for crisis and significant non-routine events.
  • Maintain the Battlewatch section with 100% compliance, ensuring personnel from other sections are not used to replace Battlewatch vacancies.
  • Develop and provide a master shift schedule to the COR by the last day of each month for the following month.
  • Prepare and execute routine daily reports documenting the status of current SOCSOUTH operations, personnel, and SOF laydown.
  • Create, update, and disseminate daily reports including SITREPs, DEPREPs, consolidated PERSTAT, J3 force laydown brief, OPSUM, and daily ops primer.
  • Maintain accurate records of all personnel traveling within the AOR, recording their status on NIPR and SIPR databases, and track daily key leader locations disseminated to the entire SOCSOUTH enterprise.
  • Accurately document initial 5Ws (who, what, when, where, and why) reports for CCIR, serious incidents, disasters, and coordinate with subordinate commands/commanders in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Notify command leadership with 100% compliance across the spectrum of potential events, including personal emergencies, physical security incidents, natural disasters, and military contingencies.
  • Provide support for the planning and execution of SOCSOUTH Continuation of Operations (COOP) training or real-world contingency missions, including prolonged travel to alternate/contingency command and control locations during events such as hurricane evacuations.

Qualifications

  • 12 years of prior military experience in an operations field.
  • 3 years of experience using communication skills, both written and oral, including preparation of written products for senior leader use (general officer/flag officer/senior executive service level) and the ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Possess and maintain a current Secret security clearance.
