Threat Tec is seeking a highly skilled Plans and Operations Integrator to join our team in support of the Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH), Directorate of Operations Program Support (DOPS). As a Plans and Operations Integrator, you will provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition and analysis for past and future operations in the SOCSOUTH area of operations (AO).

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, managerial, and administrative direction for problem definition and analysis for past and future operations in the SOCSOUTH AO.
  • Advise and assist in all aspects of the J3 Global Competition (GC), Counter Drug (CD), Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC), planning and coordination, including Counter Terrorism (CT), Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Information Related Capabilities (IRCs), and Irregular Warfare (IW).
  • Participate in joint planning groups and provide SOF-specific recommended courses of action to the J3 and SOCSOUTH Command Group.
  • Integrate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) across all directorates to coordinate and synchronize CD/CTOC operations, Observations, Assessments, and Insights (OAI) to achieve desired effects.
  • Liaise with Geographical Combatant Commands (GCCs), Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), USSOUTHCOM J3, JTF 4.0, components, and subordinate staffs to facilitate inclusion of IRCs to achieve effects and Methods of Effectiveness (MOE) inclusion into SOCSOUTH CTN OAIs and the development of strategic & operational-level plans.
  • Serve as the J35 Future Plans Division primary continuity into JTF 4.0 and the USSOUTHCOM J3/J35, assisting in the development of products supporting coordination and integration of IRCs to achieve TCP desired effects.
  • Provide assistance in the development of long-term plans, implementing and finalizing support to future operations.
  • Assist and coordinate with the J5 in the development of assessment solutions to achieve operational objectives and facilitate strategic long-term planning.
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness for all activities occurring within the Division's spheres of influence.
  • Serve as the Division's liaison to the Regional Fusion Division (RFD), J38 Joint Effects Division (JED), and other J3 entities on all plans and future operations in the USSOUTHCOM AOR.
  • Assist in the compilation, analysis, and completion of Theatre Campaign Assessments in coordination with J2, J5, J7, and other SOCSOUTH Directorates.
  • Assist the senior contract program manager (SCPM) for all JOD/J3 activities occurring within a given timeframe, including report compilation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years prior military experience, with experience working in a SOF headquarters required.
  • 3 years of experience within the USSOUTHCOM AOR.
  • Served a minimum of 2 years in an operational and/or strategic level headquarters (O-6 HQs or above), demonstrating familiarity and experience with the Joint Planning Process or Service equivalent planning process.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
