The HR Generalist at Siteimprove will be a dynamic professional focused on providing robust support to first and second-line managers, for the GTM organizations, while fostering positive employee relations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director - Human Resources, this role requires adaptability, proactive problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently on range of employee relation cases.

What you will be doing

  • Employee Relations and HR Support:
  • Act as a key resource for first and second-line managers on various HR matters.
  • Address employee issues, conflicts, and concerns promptly, fostering a positive work environment. Provide guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and fair practices.
  • Handle employee relation cases including but not limited to grievances, disciplinaries, and restructuring activities across multiple countries within Europe.
  • Escalate employee relations cases to the HRBP where more complex situations occur.
  • People Leader Assistance:
  • Provide direct support to first and second-line managers in navigating HR-related challenges.
  • Assist in developing strategies to enhance team dynamics, employee engagement, and overall performance.
  • Offer guidance on effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee development.
  • Collaborate with managers to facilitate smooth onboarding experiences for new employees.
  • Support the offboarding process, ensuring a positive and constructive exit experience for departing employees.
  • HR Administration and Data Management:
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills to manage, maintain, and report on key HR indicators.
  • Generate reports and analytics to support HR initiatives and decision-making.
  • Handle HR documentation with precision and confidentiality.
  • PowerPoint Presentation Creation:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations to convey HR-related information.
  • Build visually engaging presentations for team meetings, and general updates.
  • Adaptable Problem Solving:
  • Thrive in an environment with ambiguity, demonstrating the ability to work fast and effectively in ever-changing situations.
  • Proactively identify HR challenges and propose creative solutions.
  • Wide Range of HR Activities:
  • Embrace various HR activities such as employee engagement, and HR projects as needed.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with organizational goals.

What we will require of you

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data management and reporting.
  • Proficient in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

Base pay will depend on the position, individual qualifications, market, and other operational business needs.
