Diploma or GED Experience Requirement: completion or actively pursuing Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Special Skills: ability to communicate effectively and take instructions; civil construction experience a plus, conc Travel Requirement: open to travel Description Position: Summer Engineering Internship Full Time Travel: yes, depending on site locations (will be assigned to a site for the summer) We are currently looking for Interns pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering to join our Wagman Heavy Civil team. Reporting to direct field supervision, the Intern will be assigned various tasks from management and work with the engineering team on the assigned project. Tasks may include but are not limited to reviewing drawings and specs, assist in ordering of materials, site walk through's, submittals and RFI's and more. The ideal candidate should be able to take and follow instructions as well as be able to work independently and communicate effectively. This position works alongside the entire Project Team to support the completion of assigned construction projects and ensures all plans move forward to meet projected deadlines in safe manner. This is a safety sensitive position requiring work on construction sites with various safety hazards inherent in heavy construction. This position is subject to drug testing and compliance policies associated with our status as a Federal Contractor.
