Overview
We are seeking a CEI Inspector Aide in our Orlando, FL office. As a CEI Inspector’s Aide, you will assist CEI Inspectors or CEI Senior Inspectors in all aspects of daily pre-event work which includes various debris inspection duties to ensure quality control and contractor compliance for debris removal.
Responsibilities
- Assists with inspections and monitors assigned field work activities on a pre-event project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Coordinates work and inspections with contractor’s representative as required by higher-level inspectors.
- In guidance with senior inspector, checks lines, grades, dimensions and elevations using standard field measuring equipment.
- Ensures that highways, work zones, and traffic control setups conform to contract requirements.
- Assists with tests and/or samples materials.
- Assists in project administrator or senior inspectors meetings.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- Required to have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Moderate or intermediate computer skills.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Able to follow simple technical instructions.
- Adequately trained on Debris Operations. (We will provide the training)
