Responsibilities

Production Technician I (2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm)

We are looking to hire Productions Associates for our Cranberry, PA manufacturing plant.

Working hours are 2nd Shift - 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday

Starting pay $21.38/hr. + $1.00 shift differential

The responsibilities of this position are primarily to:

  • Assemble and test (including set-up), moderately complex instruments and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering
  • May be required to pick parts from the warehouse
  • Produce customized instruments to customer specifications (assemble to order)
  • Package and ship instruments according to customer specifications
  • Generate delivery notes and determine method of shipping
  • Transfer material to shipping dock
  • Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework
  • Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures
  • Ability to understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices
  • Ability to perform standard software operations including UPS
  • Must attain ability to perform complex SAP transactions
  • Ability to infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to regularly perform work that requires magnification
  • Ability to use power and hand tools, custom tooling and to operate a pallet jack
  • Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and prioritize and organize work
  • Must attain Hazardous Material certification
  • Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts
  • Ability to wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis



Qualifications

Education and Experience Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 months electronics manufacturing or other related experience

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Past soldering experience
