Position Title: MAT Therapist - Full-time Location: Physicians's Clinic/CCBHC - Owensboro, KY Description: RiverValley Behavioral Health - Acumen Counseling Services Owensboro Ky 42301 Job Summary: 2. Observes all billing requirements (e.g. length of billable sessions, timeliness of paperwork, etc.) Any exceptions must be approved prior by Clinical Director. Clinical Service Ticket/Notes must be turned in on same day as provided service or by the morning of the next business day. 3. Observes appropriate protocol regarding scheduling and cancellations. 4. Provides clinically appropriate psychotherapy services as dictated by the clinical needs of the client(s), to include individual, group, IOP, family and couples' therapies, within the clinicians' level of expertise. Seeks consultation and supervision as needed. 5. Reviews all available new case information for each new case assigned. 6. Attends and participates in all required meetings including supervision, client treatment teams, Quality Assurance, and/or NMS committees. Proficiently communicates with team members.
7. Maintains all required continuing education for specific position and meets all licensing requirements by State Boards for their respective discipline. 8. Collaborates with co-workers and supports a healthy and professional team atmosphere. Refers for appropriate services within and outside Agency, as needed. 9. Complies with all HIPAA requirements. 10. Fosters collaborative working relationships among members of the leadership and management teams and programs Minimum Requirements: +Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or closely related field +License as required by Kentucky professional boards and billing sources. +Valid driver's license, reliable operating transportation, and proof of current auto insurance +Prefer experience working with adults with substance use disorders.
