Overview

Arts & Science is seeking a talented Program Administrator to join the Creative Writing Program. This individual will oversee administrative services to the Creative Writing Department, including the CWP Director, CWP managers, and faculty; administer the budget, monitor grant, gift, and endowment accounts; prepare annual and interim reports for Arts & Science departments, such as Fiscal, Payroll, Academic Appointments, and Graduate Enrollment Services. Develop and implement office policies and procedures. Assist with faculty onboarding. Supervise staff and student employees. Partner with NYU offices to maintain the building and plan for future projects.



Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
3+ years relevant experience. Must include experience with overseeing office and program activities, administering budgets and supervising staff.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.



Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $67,500.00 to USD $75,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
