Position Summary

Head of Sales EMEA is tasked with for driving the Comtech INS new business in EMEA and managing the regional distributors and resellers to boost the company’s revenues and profits with support of the Comtech pre-sales and post-sales teams.


Responsibilities

  • The Head of Network Sales EMEA is responsible for directing and managing sales of all INS products and services to customers in the region.
  • Develop new business opportunities for company products and lead the way to enter new market verticals.
  • Establish direct and indirect channels and partners to grow company’s revenues and profits.
  • Provide quarterly and annual bookings forecast to management.
  • Keep track of competitor activities in the region and formulate win strategies against competitors.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department to launch marketing promotions and distribution programs.
  • Build key customer relationships and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.

Qualifications

  • Detailed knowledge of the regional satcom and telecom industry (end users, system integrators, resellers, competitors) .
  • Understanding of satcom and IP networking technology.
  • Ability to work across all stages of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English and in at least one dominant language in the region.
  • Analytical and networking skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel on business 40% to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or business studies with a minimum 5 years of sales or business development experience in the satcom network industry
  • Proven track record of developing major customer accounts and closing sales
