Responsibilities

Major Responsibility Area #1: Operational Excellence Leadership

  • Lead and champion Operational Excellence initiatives across the site, with a commitment to improving processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, empowering teams to identify and implement lean practices, 80-20 methodology, and other efficiency-driven approaches.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance, track progress, and drive accountability together with the Regional Director of Ops and the site Director of Ops

Major Responsibility Area #2: Financial Management and P&L Responsibility

  • Assume full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the site, setting financial targets, and developing strategies to achieve revenue growth, cost control, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial data, identify areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement, and implement action plans to meet or exceed financial goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with financial objectives.

Major Responsibility Area #3: Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Lead incident investigation and root cause analysis efforts to prevent future safety incidents.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by engaging employees at all levels and fostering safety awareness

Major Responsibility Area #4: Team Leadership and Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to drive individual and collective success.
  • Foster employee development and talent management programs to build a skilled and motivated workforce.
  • Create succession plans to ensure leadership continuity and talent pipeline development.


Qualifications

Education:

Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering or related field

Preferred: MBA

Skills and Experience:

Mandatory: Manufacturing leadership responsibility, multi-site responsibility, experience leading cross functional teams

Travel Requirements:

20% - regional meetings, customer visits & other business travel
